Meet Avril 💕

Avril is a sweet, sassy little lady with a gentle soul and a big personality. When she first came into care, she was a young, hardworking mum who was understandably scared and fiercely protective of her babies. She did an amazing job raising them, and now that her kittens have set off on their own adventures, it's finally her turn to be the centre of attention.

Since her babies have grown, Avril has truly blossomed. She's gained confidence, discovered her independence, and started to show her playful, cheeky side. She loves to explore her surroundings and is always curious about what's going on. Food is definitely one of her love languages - she gets very excited at mealtimes and will happily let you know when she thinks it's time for a snack!
Avril doesn't mind having a feline friend, though she can be a little bossy and selective when first introduced. With slow, respectful introductions, she settles in well - she just likes to make sure everyone knows she's the queen.

Her absolute favourite things? A cardboard scratcher (she will go to town on one!) and catnip - which sends her into the most delightful zoomy happiness. She's also wonderfully chatty and enjoys having "conversations" with her people. Just be warned... sometimes she doesn't quite get the hint that it's nap time for everyone else!

Avril would suit a home that understands she may be a little timid at first, she can get overwhelmed in new situations, but with patience and kindness, you'll see her affectionate, quirky personality shine in no time. She's ready for a lifetime of love, comfort, and cardboard scratchers.
